Rupert Farrington’s father Robin Farrington was the former Chairman of the school. In 2003 his mother was present at the opening of the Farrington Music School at the Port Regis School, Dorset, named after her husband.
Both of his Parents are died. His mother died in Lower Zeals, Wiltshire, on 1 March 2015, at the age of 81, from undisclosed causes. His father, Robin Farrington died earlier, he passed away on 13 June 2002.
