A native Californian, Bonnie Raitt entered the world on November 8, 1949, in the city of Burbank. Bonnie has had a successful and extensive career as a blues vocalist, composer, and guitarist.

The publication of her breakthrough album, Nick of Time, in 1989 propelled her to mainstream stardom, despite her meteoric ascent to fame in the 1970s.
